“Innovative solutions student” may best describe Karen Becker.  With over 15 years of experience in REALTOR Association management, Karen has the depth of experience and knowledge to understand the complex problems facing the real estate industry in these uncertain times.  Karen created and hosted the RAPDD Summit in Wichita, Kansas, for REALTOR Association Professional Development Directors and educators.  The event grew in breadth and reputation over the next five years, gleaning the attention and support of the National Association of REALTORS and education staff and trainers from across the United States.

As a successful Association Executive Officer for the Southeast Minnesota Association of REALTORS, Karen is broadening her scope of innovative solutions for her membership, which encompasses 11 counties in SE Minnesota. Karen is past Chair of the NAR Local Education Directors Committee, has served on the NAR Professional Development Committee, the GRI Task Force and the REALTOR University Blue Ribbon Panel.  Karen is currently serving on NAR’s REALTOR University AE Task Force and the AE Magazine’s editorial board.  In addition, she is vice chair of the Minnesota Association of REALTORS AE Council.
