Brian Gay is the Executive Director of Midwest Free Community Papers (formerly SGI). MFCP is a regional association of free distribution papers. Brian’s background includes over thirty years in the free paper industry. He is formerly an owner, publisher, general manager, sales manager, sale rep, past president of MFCP and past board member of both state and national associations. He has written extensively and regularly for several industry publications. In April of 2009 his book Land Standing was completed. Proceeds from the sale of the book were donated to Camp Courageous of Iowa where Brian is the immediate past president of the board and long time board member.
Brian is a graduate of the University of Iowa where he majored in finance and economics. Brian and his wife, Sandy, have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. They live in Coralville, Iowa.
