Amy S. Tolbert, Ph.D., CSP develops global competence in organizations as Principal with ECCO International.  With over 20 years of experience, Amy works with leaders to develop their global team effectiveness.  After researching multicultural competencies needed for today’s global organization, she has authored a book, Reversing the Ostrich Approach to Diversity:  Pulling your head out of the sand, a timely answer to the renewed urgency for actionable multicultural information. She has co-authored several other books and tools in the marketplace on diversity.  Most recently she has released a new training system:  Open Mind, Open World:  Improving Intercultural Interactions.  She served on many boards including ASTD-MN, NSA-MN, NSA National Vice Chair for the Professional Expertise Group on Diversity, and the HR connection Advisory Board. Amy is a Fellow at the Carlson Executive Education Center, Carlson School of Management.  She has earned her Ph.D. from the University of MN and Certified Speaking Professional.
